Volume 7, Issue 3, 5773
Yes, Earth Day was back in April, but we need to be thinking of numerous and creative ways to repair the earth year round. So for this issue, we look specifically at Jewish ways of taking action and thinking about “going green.” As Jews, we are required to take responsibility for our physical and social surroundings. It’s not just about appreciating the environment; we are expected and commanded to protect it, as you will learn. Below are innovative ideas and projects for doing just that, and we hope they will inspire green thoughts to blossom in your own mind—followed by hands-on action.
